My services & style.

Counselling can be challenging and uplifting and at times, humorous. I will invite you to dig deep and invest in the process to help improve the way you feel.

I am passionate about meeting new people and working out how we think and behave. My framework is attachment and trauma based. I believe that we are the product of our early life experiences and that our big and small traumas shape how we think about ourselves, understand the world and how we function in our relationships. My style is eclectic and I draw from many different therapeutic frameworks such as schema and EMDR in my sessions.

I have a warm and bubbly personality and will help you to feel comfortable in sessions. I offer a non-judgemental space where you can feel heard and understood.

I offer Telehealth and face to face sessions at my rooms in Middle Footscray, Melbourne’s Inner West.

I am registered as an Accredited Mental Heath Social Worker. You can claim a Medicare rebate of $85.30 minimum with a Mental Health Care plan from your GP.

If you have reached your Family Safety Net (Medicare threshold) for the year, you may be entitled to a larger rebate of roughly $169 per session. You can check whether you’ve met your Family Safety Net via the Medicare app. Make sure everyone in your family is registered as part of this Safety Net to ensure that all your out-of-pocket medicare spending is accounted for.

The Mind at Heart is also a co-working space that has other mixed gender counsellors (psychologists and social workers) available who work with a range of clients.

If you would like to access any other therapists who work out of The Mind at Heart co-working space, please contact me.
